Hi What

based on a Hi Watt circa early 70s, breaks up nicely as the guitar plugged into it gets more powerful, with a nice add on overdrive boost setting to give it a super crunch as well, This will have you windmilling those power chords just like Pete! This patch also suits 60s classic rock too, where the guitars started to get plenty louder just before the turn of the decade!

1979 Gold

my take on a late 70s master volume Marshall, imagine sat in a vintage studio , where hard rock was starting to become massively popular, with add ons available of the Boss OD-1 that was new at the time, as well as a classic CE-1 setting you can switch on and off too, where your band wanted to throw a great power ballad onto the album, great for bands like AC/DC, Lizzy, Journey, Foreigner and more, super versatile

Milton Keynes 92

imagine its the early 1990s, and you have taken delivery of a brand new Hi Gain Dual Reverb Marshall, this patch has two channels , one medium gain and the second with the gain high for solos, with the option for digital delay via CTL, gone for a nice DD-3 style setting, which would have around back then too! great for hard rock and hair rock too “that” Marshall sound but with more gain than we had been used to in the 1980s

Lots of Lights

Remember those days when you hit a note on your guitar and lots of lights started shining, not only did it look cool, it sounded every cool and you felt like your tone had a yuppie guitar hero sheen! looking for that rack sound with some nice effects?, find it here!

Millenium MS

based on a modern Marshall like the DSL or JVM , plenty of gain if needed, go from rhythm to solos with your guitar volume control, With a nice delay switchable for showing off!

Far Out Man

based on a non Master Volume Marshall, with a cool dirty clean tone, with add ons via CTL for a big fat fuzz and a vintage style wah. Groovy Man!

Johns Majesty

Here you will find a modern Mesa Boogie style pair of tones from me, one for rhythm and one for those stunning solos, with two delays switchable, one short and one long to really impress , one of my faves i love tones like this!

Sunset JCM800

a new version of my modded JCM hair rock tone, with that big mid 80s Marshall JCM800 punch, but with mods (more presence and midrange tone, with an add on TS-9 to really push that front end for those squeals, taps and fast runs. Hair Metal tones live here

Power Ballad

a gorgeous chiming spacious and dreamy powerballad clean, ideal for humbuckers or single coils, with switchable chorus and stereo delay

Dusty Old Boogie

imagine you have found a dusty 1970s Mesa Boogie in a guitar shop, and you know its gonna give “that” sound as soon as you plug in your guitar, that fat singing almost vocal tone with stacked gain that really sings, ideal for latin influenced classic rock, and that fat tone of late 70s and early 80s AOR.
